The problem
Mobile AR viewers stream the whole model before display. Above roughly 15 MB load times degrade sharply on average phones, and some platforms compress or reject large files.
The fix
Resize textures (usually the bulk of file weight) to 2048px or less, remove unused meshes/materials, and re-export.
